  • Sponsored Placements: Sellers can use promotional credits or purchase ad spots to appear in “Top Picks,” category highlights, or in-app banners. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled as “Promoted.”
  • Seasonal Campaigns: NOVA runs curated campaigns for technology launches, Back-to-School, Green Week, and special deals with exclusive placements for participating sellers.

2. Suggestions & Personalized Recommendations

  • AI-Powered Recommendations: Our recommendation engine analyzes your search history, purchases, wishlist adds, and even category browsing to suggest the most relevant tech products.
  • Smart Filtering: Filters like “Best Sellers,” “Green Products,” “New Arrivals,” and “Top Reviewed” guide buyers to products with specific certifications, top ratings, or unique value.
  • Personal Dashboard: Registered buyers enjoy a dashboard of personalized suggestions, special offers, and reminders informed by their preferences—never sold to third parties or used for off-platform targeting.

4. Advertising & Promotions Policy

  • NOVA clearly labels all paid placements, ads, and sponsored content for transparency to our users.
  • All advertisements must comply with Philippine advertising law, platform policies, and must not be misleading, harmful, or discriminatory.
  • Misuse of promos (e.g., coupon abuse, fraudulent reviews, fake “limited offer” banners) results in removal and may incur account penalties.
  • Sellers may not direct users off-platform using paid placements or in-product listings.
  • Green Seller status may not be purchased; it is awarded based on independent certification and audit only.

5. Featured Sections & Editorial Curation

  • Editorial Picks: NOVA’s content and curation team highlight outstanding products, sellers, and initiatives based on merit, innovation, and user feedback—not payment.
  • Green Collections: Dedicated pages and banners for Green Seller products and verified eco-friendly certifications are refreshed regularly.
  • Community Engagement: The best user-contributed reviews, product guides, and Q&As may be featured to empower the whole community and guide informed purchases.

6. Transparency, Controls & User Rights

  • Users can see why a product is shown (e.g., “Recommended for you” or “Trending in Laptops”).
  • Opt Out: Personalization uses opt-in/opt-out settings. Users can turn off personalized suggestions at any time in privacy settings.
  • Sellers may request removal from featured sections if inclusion is undesired.
  • Our content and algorithmic policies are regularly reviewed for fairness and relevance.
